Our Pack is trying something new this year. We have singed up for Scout Manage. This program will help us track the scouts progress through the ranks of his Cub Scouting experiance.  All Parents and Leaders will be set up with User Names and Pass words. To access Scout Manage click on this link www.scoutmanage.com and input your user name and password at the top of the page.

Using a single, easy-to-use web interface, multiple members of our unit • including leaders and parents can access, monitor, track, and update all aspects of their scouting experience in a safe and controlled environment.

ScoutManage allows multiple members of our unit to view and update information at the same time, creating a truly powerful system for interacting between everyone in our unit.

What It Does...

ScoutManage removes many of the tedious day-to-day chores of managing a scouting unit, by allowing the management of information to those who know it best, rather than having changes funneled thru 1 or 2 key (and very busy) leaders in our unit. Information can be handled by:

  • Parents. Update what requirements their son's worked on at home. This can be for their rank advancement, or for any of the other 330 awards that ScoutManage supports. Easily contact your Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, or other leader. Accurately keep up-to-date on all upcoming events and activities. Contact other parents within your den, patrol, pack, or troop.

  • Den Leaders. Track the attendance, activities, dues, and achievements of the scouts in their care. Create and update calendar entries and perform event management for your den/patrol. Communicate effectively and consistently online with your scouts and parents. Along with parents, track progress towards rank and any of the other 330 awards available, representing thousands of individual requirements.

  • CubMaster Provide regular and easily available communications with all the scouts and parents in your unit.

  • Committee Chair. Monitor and examine the activities of your unit. Are tour permits being turned in? What about permission slips? Do all of the vehicles you use to transport have insurance information on file? Who does not have a medical statement (class 1, 2, or 3) on file? Communicate with your leaders effectively and consistently. Create and communicate leadership meetings.

  • Treasurer. Track who has paid and who has not paid fees. Track reimbursement requests.

  • Advancement Coordinator. Track who has earned what awards. Easily manage lists of awards to purchase, and awards to present. Automatically fill out BSA advancement forms.

  • Individual Event Coordinator. Track who is planning on attending and who may attend. Track (easily coordinated with the treasurer) payment of event fees. Track permission slips required and turned in, and automatically notify parents when they are still needed. Track results of attendance (number of miles hiked, for example). Track tour permits and payment of event fees.

  • Training Coordinator. Track training completion for any training event for any leader. Track which leaders have not yet taken required training. Track which leaders have taken a specific specialized training. Track who is out of day for expirable training, such as Youth Protection. Plan, coordinate, and communicate training events.
